Best Massage for Stress Relief: Meet Our East Bethel Therapists
5D Wellness Team·6 min read·December 6, 2025

Between work, school pickups, the commute down Highway 65, and a Minnesota winter that seems to hang on a little longer every year, stress has a way of settling into your shoulders and staying there. If you live in the North Metro, you know the feeling. The good news is that you don't have to drive into the Cities or book weeks out at a big chain spa to do something about it. A calm, unhurried massage for stress relief in East Bethel is closer than you think, and the team behind it lives and works right here in your community.
At 5D Wellness, we're a locally and women-owned spa, and we built our massage menu around real life in the North Metro: busy parents, shift workers, caregivers, and anyone who just needs an hour to exhale. Here's a look at how our sessions work, the modalities we offer, and the licensed therapists who make it all feel less like an appointment and more like a reset.
Why Massage Helps a Stressed-Out Body Unwind
When you're running on adrenaline for days at a time, your muscles tend to hold the tension long after the stressful moment has passed. Tight shoulders, a clenched jaw, a stiff lower back from sitting too long. Massage is one of the simplest, most pleasant ways to invite those muscles to let go.
This isn't about fixing a medical condition. It's about general wellness and relaxation. A good massage slows you down, eases muscle tension, and gives your nervous system a quiet hour to settle. Many of our guests tell us they sleep better the night after a session and feel more like themselves the next morning.
The Pre-Sauna Difference
Here's something that sets our sessions apart. Every massage at 5D Wellness includes a 30-minute pre-sauna session beforehand, built right into your visit.
Why start in the sauna? Gentle heat warms and loosens your muscles before the therapist ever lays a hand on you. By the time you move to the table, your body is relaxed and pliable, which means the bodywork can go deeper and feel more effective without forcing anything. It's also a wonderful way to shed the rush of the day. You walk in tense from traffic and to-do lists, and the warmth quietly resets your pace before the massage even begins.
For Minnesota winters especially, that pre-sauna warmth is a small luxury that makes a big difference.
Our Massage Sessions and Pricing
We keep things simple with two session lengths, each one including your 30-minute pre-sauna:
- 60-minute massage — $99, plus your 30-minute pre-sauna session
- 90-minute massage — $139, plus your 30-minute pre-sauna session
The 60-minute session is perfect when you need a solid reset on a busy week. The 90-minute session gives your therapist more time to work slowly and thoroughly, which many guests prefer when stress has been building for a while.
Want a little something extra? You can add CBD oil to your massage for $18. And a quick note for first-timers: tips for your therapist are always appreciated but never expected.
Modalities We Offer
Stress shows up differently in every body, so our licensed team works in a range of styles. During booking or at the start of your visit, you can talk through what you're looking for and your therapist will tailor the session.
Swedish Relaxation
The classic. Long, flowing, gentle strokes designed to calm the body and quiet the mind. If you're new to massage or simply want to melt into the table, start here.
Deep Tissue
Firmer, more focused pressure for the stubborn knots that build up across your shoulders and back when you've been carrying a lot. Great after a long stretch of desk work or physical labor.
Trigger Point
Targeted attention on specific tight spots that refer tension to other areas. Helpful when one nagging area keeps demanding your attention.
Prenatal
Gentle, supportive bodywork designed with expecting mothers in mind, focused on comfort and relaxation during a season that can be both joyful and tiring.
Cranial and Sinus Drainage
Soft, soothing techniques around the head and face that many guests find deeply calming, especially during Minnesota's congestion-heavy seasons.
CranioSacral and Healing Touch
A light-touch, whole-body approach for those who prefer something subtle and restorative rather than firm and deep. A favorite for pure stress relief.
Meet Our Licensed Team
What makes a massage feel restorative isn't just technique. It's the person. Our therapists are all licensed massage therapists, and they bring a warm, unhurried presence to every session. We're proud to be a small, local studio where you're a neighbor, not a number.
One of our therapists is affectionately known around here as "Zen Jen", a nickname she earned the honest way. Guests tend to leave her table noticeably lighter. Whoever you see, you can expect someone who listens first, checks in on pressure, and adjusts the session to what your body actually needs that day.
Because we're a smaller studio, sessions don't feel rushed or assembly-line. There's no upselling, no clock-watching, just a calm room and a therapist focused on you.
Stress Relief for North Metro Life
We're proud to serve East Bethel and our neighbors in Ham Lake, Blaine, Andover, Anoka, Cambridge, and the surrounding communities. For a lot of our guests, carving out an hour for themselves feels almost impossible between everything else. That's exactly why we keep booking simple and the atmosphere easy.
And here's the part people are often surprised to hear: you don't need a membership to book a massage. Members enjoy 24/7 access to our space, but anyone can schedule a massage anytime. Come as you are, no commitment required.
How to Book Your Massage
Ready to give your shoulders a break? Booking takes just a couple of minutes. Choose your session length, mention any focus areas or the modality you're curious about, and we'll handle the rest, pre-sauna included.
You can book your massage online or call us at (612) 322-9989 if you'd rather talk it through. Whether it's your first massage or your fiftieth, our East Bethel team is here to help you slow down, breathe, and feel a little more like yourself again.
